ABOUT THE FILM
Susana is a Romanian immigrant who has recently moved to Boston.
Immersed in a foreign culture and surrounded by strangers, she finds
solace in two places: her journal, and her roommate Adam. But when
her journal goes missing, she suspects that Adam may have taken it,
and soon Susana's world begins to change, forcing herself to question
who she can really trust.
Paperthin, a film written by Evin Charles Anderson and directed by Trent England,

REVIEWS
"McLaughlin [...] has a tremendous screen presence."
"Many independent films are shot in brightly lit, crisp shots,
but never explore playing with lighting for effect.
Paperthin goes beyond this [...] taking chances
[...for] an interesting and unique look."
"...a crisply shot and tightly edited film..."
"...the script is engaging and flows naturally..."
"[
Paperthin is] a good first film for the Anderson/England duo. I’d be interested to see what the two could do in the future, especially with a full-length feature."
